Kim has always had a passion for good food and coffee. Growing up in Lithgow her dream was to one day open a cafe to share that dream with others.
On 3 December 1990, that dream became a reality and Country Coffee was born, opening its doors at 139 George Street. The first shop was quaint and quickly won a loyal following of regular customers, drawn to the fresh homemade food and great coffee.
By 2007, Country Coffee had grown and it was time for a new venue. The cafe moved just down the road to 161 George Street, taking up residence in a building that was once a local butcher shop. The new open-spaced location provided more seating and wonderful views across Kings Parade.
Country Coffee has now been part of the food and beverage landscape in Bathurst for nearly 30 years. The cafe continues to draw both regular local customers, and visitors passing through the Central West. Kim remains as passionate as ever about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
